Advantech Satellite Networks, Inc., a division of Advantech AMT, Inc., is a world leader in satellite-based broadband communications equipment, developing VSAT equipment that supports two-way internet communications via satellite. Advantech Satellite Networks, or for short, has been formed by the purchase of EMS Satellite Networks and Spacebridge. , purchased by Advantech AMT in 2004, is also a leading provider of DVB RCS equipment. Established in 1997, SpaceBridge has an established reputation for delivering leading edge broadband wireless and satellite products.

The DVB-RCS Satellite Interactive Terminal (SIT) is much the same as those units used in a standard satellite TV system with the significant difference being that, unlike television broadcasting systems, the DVB-RCS SIT is bi-directional.

Hubs & Return Link Sub-Systems (RLSSs) from Advantech Satellite Networks are modular gateway/hub sub-systems which can be installed with new or installed IP/DVB broadcast platforms to provide two-way satellite broadband access services.

Advantech Satellite Networks has a unique, focused Systems Engineering Studies Capability that enables us to provide a range of services to satellite operators and service providers. This capability evolved from a wide range of studies and developments with an impressive list of customers, including Intelsat, SES, JSAT, Telesat, ESA, CSA and many others.
